As digital transformation continues to reshape infrastructure management across the United States, XYGO is helping lead that evolution in South Florida.
Working with the Greater Miami Expressway Agency (GMX) through the General Engineering Consultant (GEC) program led by EAC Consulting, XYGO has successfully implemented a series of geospatial and digital infrastructure initiatives designed to modernize operations, improve asset management, and support smarter decision making.
The engagement focused on three key areas:
- Modernizing critical GIS applications by migrating legacy systems from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro, ensuring long term sustainability and improved integration across enterprise operations.
- Digitizing field operations through ArcGIS Field Maps, enabling teams to capture and update infrastructure assets in real time while reducing manual processes and improving data accuracy.
- Launching a Digital Twin pilot along the SR 878 corridor using LiDAR technology and 360 degree imagery to create a highly accurate digital representation of roadway assets and infrastructure conditions.
Together, these initiatives are helping GMX move from fragmented workflows toward a connected, data driven infrastructure management model that improves operational efficiency, asset visibility, and long-term planning.
The company’s momentum in South Florida continues to grow. Following the successful completion of its initial engagement with the City of Doral, XYGO has now entered Phase 2 of its work with the city, further advancing the use of geospatial intelligence and digital infrastructure management to support municipal operations and planning.
Building on these successes, IMPACTIFI & XYGO are expanding engagement opportunities with public sector organizations across Broward and Palm Beach Counties as regional leaders continue exploring innovative approaches to infrastructure management, asset visibility, and smart city initiatives.
For XYGO, these milestones represent more than individual projects. They reflect growing market demand for technologies that help public agencies make faster, more informed decisions while improving efficiency, resiliency, and long-term infrastructure performance.
At IMPACTIFI, we are proud to support innovative international companies like XYGO as they establish a presence in the United States, build strategic relationships, and create measurable impact throughout the communities they serve.
