Businesses have invested heavily in cameras. They are in restaurants, hotels, warehouses, manufacturing facilities and countless other operating environments. Yet for many organizations, those cameras remain primarily security tools, capturing enormous amounts of video that may only be reviewed when something goes wrong.
What if that existing infrastructure could do more?
FALCTRAC, an artificial intelligence and computer vision platform developed by Spain-based I.S.A.V.E.L. Cloud, is designed to transform existing camera feeds into actionable operational intelligence.
Rather than requiring businesses to replace their current cameras or install specialized hardware, FALCTRAC can analyze existing video feeds and convert visual activity into metrics, events, dashboards, reports, and alerts. The objective is simple: help businesses better understand what is actually happening inside their operations and identify areas that may deserve attention.
Seeing More Inside Restaurant Operations
For restaurants and hospitality operators, FALCTRAC can go far beyond traditional traffic and occupancy analytics.
The platform can analyze table occupancy and turnaround times, service response, customer traffic, staff movement and workflow bottlenecks. In food preparation areas, its computer vision capabilities can also identify individual ingredients and analyze how they are being used, providing visibility into quantities, preparation patterns and potential waste.
Instead of requiring managers to continuously monitor hours of video, FALCTRAC is designed to organize what cameras observe into information that can help operators identify patterns, challenges, and potential opportunities.
“What caught our attention with FALCTRAC is the simplicity of the proposition. Businesses already have cameras collecting enormous amounts of information. FALCTRAC has the potential to turn that existing infrastructure into operational intelligence that helps leaders see their business differently and make better informed decisions.” – Camilo Padron, IMPACTIFI
From Spain to South Florida
FALCTRAC selected IMPACTIFI to help develop its South Florida market entry strategy after evaluating potential partners and looking for an approach that went beyond simply making introductions.
Our strategy is centered on creating a structured roadmap for market entry, validation, and commercial development. A key component is the use of pilot programs that allow prospective organizations to evaluate the technology within their own operating environments before considering broader implementation.
Two U.S. pilot programs have already been secured and are being prepared for launch. The participating organizations remain confidential, and no performance results are being claimed before those pilots are completed and evidence is approved for publication.
While restaurants and hospitality represent FALCTRAC’s current commercial focus, the underlying technology also has potential applications across manufacturing, logistics, and hospital operations, where existing cameras could provide greater visibility into processes, movement, utilization, safety and operational patterns.
For businesses that already have cameras in place, the opportunity may not be about adding more hardware.
It may be about making the infrastructure they already own considerably more intelligent.
